What the money buys

The whole of this page — the screenshot, the name, the description and the link — for as long as you hold it. You hold it until somebody pays the falling price to take it from you, and there is no minimum time that can be promised, because the next person's money is the only thing that ends your hold.

What you pay is not a rank and it buys no favour. It sets one thing: the price starts again at double it, so a larger payment simply makes you more expensive to remove.

What it does not buy

• A length of time. Somebody can pay double a minute after you got the page, and they are entitled to.
• An amount of traffic. How many people see the page while you hold it depends on how busy the site is, which is not something anybody can promise.
• A place in a ranking. There is no ranking. There is one page and one holder.

The price you were quoted is the price you pay

The price falls continuously, so it is fixed at the moment your checkout opens and that is the amount charged. If somebody else takes the page while you are paying, your payment still takes it from them. Money is never taken without the page changing hands.

What you may submit

A real, working, publicly reachable page for something you made or represent. Not:

• Malware, phishing, or anything that impersonates another company or person
• Sexual content, content involving minors, or content that is illegal where we operate
• Scams, deceptive financial offers, or pages that misrepresent what they are
• A page whose only purpose is to redirect somewhere else

We can end a hold that breaks these rules at any point, without a refund, and we would rather lose the money than leave a scam on the page where everybody can see it.

Refunds

There are none, and this is the one place the mechanism is unforgiving: the page is handed over the instant the payment clears, so there is nothing left to give back. Buying it means accepting that somebody may take it a minute later.

If we break, meaning your payment cleared and the page never showed your site, or the site goes down while you are holding it, you get your money back whether you ask or not. Email hello@goingonce.lol.

Your content

You keep everything. By taking the page you give us permission to display the name, description, screenshot and link of the site you entered, here and in the share cards this site generates, including on the public record of your hold after it ends. Ask and we remove it.

Payments

Dodo Payments is the merchant of record. They handle the transaction, the receipt and any tax that applies where you are. Your card details never reach us.

No warranty

This is a small site run by a small number of people. It is provided as-is. We are not liable for lost revenue, lost customers or lost opportunity arising from a hold that did not perform how you hoped. The most you can ever recover from us is what you paid for that hold.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes. Changes are not retroactive. A hold you already paid for runs under the terms in force when you paid.
