Privacy

last updated 22 August 2026

There is no account system here, so there is very little to collect. This page lists everything.

If you are just watching

Your browser generates a random id and keeps it in localStorage. It is not linked to a name, an email or an account, and we cannot tie it to you. It exists so a hold counts you once instead of once per poll, and so the room knows how many people are in it.

We store that id alongside which entries you have seen and whether you clicked through. We keep no IP addresses against it. Clearing your browser storage severs the connection permanently. There is nothing on our side to look you up by.

If you take the page

We store what you typed into the form:

  • Your landing page URL, product name and one-line pitch
  • A screenshot of that page, or the image you uploaded instead
  • Your name and X handle, if you chose to add them. Both are optional
  • The email address you gave Dodo Payments at checkout, so we can reach you

Everything except your email is public by design: it is what goes on the page. Your email is never shown, never sold and never added to a mailing list.

Payments

Dodo Payments is the merchant of record and handles the transaction end to end. Your card details go to them, never to us. We never see, store or transmit them. We receive a payment id, an amount and the email you gave them.

Third parties

  • Dodo Payments handles payments and receipts.
  • Neon hosts the database, in the United States.
  • Screenshot services. WordPress mShots, thum.io and Microlink render your public landing page. They receive the URL you submitted, which is public anyway.
  • Google favicon service fetches the little icon for your domain.

There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no third-party cookie on this site.

Removing your data

Email hello@goingonce.lol from the address you paid with and we will delete your entry, its screenshot and its receipt. Slots that have already run cannot be un-run, because people saw them, but the record comes down.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that affects what we collect, the date at the top changes with it.
