The price only goes down

One page, one website

Whoever holds the page owns all of it: the screenshot, the name, the link. There is no list, no rank and no second place. You are on it or you are not.

The price halves every 2h

It starts at double whatever the last person paid and falls from there every second, down to a floor of $10. There is no upper limit: if somebody pays a thousand dollars, the next price starts at two thousand. Before anyone has ever taken it, the page opens at $80.

So if somebody pays $80, taking it from them costs $160right away, $80 in 2h, $20 in three times that, and the floor within the day. Because the fall is exponential, no price stays high for long — even $10,000 is back at $10 inside a day and a half. Waiting is a strategy. So is not waiting.

What you pay is how long you are safe

The price is not a rank and it buys no favour. It only sets how expensive you are to remove. Pay $10 and somebody can push you off within the hour. Pay $500 and the price does not fall back under $60 until tomorrow.

Paying more always buys more. There is no cap and no tier: the only thing money does here is raise the number somebody else has to beat, and the only thing that lowers it is time.

Paying always takes the page

You pay the price you were quoted when you started checkout, whatever the number does while you are at the till. If somebody else takes the page in those few minutes, your payment still takes it from them. Money is never taken without the page changing hands.

One field

A website or an @handle. The name, the one-liner and the screenshot are read off the site itself. Nothing to sign up for, no password, no account.

The three names under the price

Those are the three biggest amounts anybody has ever paid, and the person holding the page right now is first among them because holding it is what being first means. It is a record, not a board: the only way onto it is to pay more than everybody on it. No place on it is for sale at any price, and nothing about it changes what the page does.

What the numbers mean

  • Clicks are people who opened a holder's link from this page. One per person per hold, not per tap, so reloading does not inflate it.
  • Online is browsers that have loaded the page in the last few seconds.
  • Visits is every browser that has ever loaded it, counted once each.
  • Paid, clicks sent and takeovers count real payments only. Nothing on the opening lineup is included in any of them.

The opening lineup

The wall has a second section at the bottom marked sample figures. Those are products that were on this site before the page had a price, shown with example numbers so a visitor can see what a busy day looks like. Nothing there was paid for, none of it counts towards any total, and it is labelled on its face rather than in a footnote.

What this does not do

  • It does not promise traffic. You get the page for as long as you hold it, and how many people see it depends on how busy the site is.
  • It does not promise a duration. Somebody with more money than patience can take the page back a minute after you got it, and they pay double for the privilege.
  • Payments are not refundable, because the thing you bought is handed over the instant you pay it. The terms say this in the same words.
  • Scam, malware and adult sites are removed with no refund. Everything else is fair game.

Go and look at the number.

It is lower than it was when you opened this page. That is the whole idea.
